Here are some AR codes and how to use them.

In order to use this code you have to:
1. Load the code and then the game save file
2. Check the First slot in the items Bag and make sure some kind of item you don't need or can easily get again later on is there, I used a repel.
3. Back your way back to the game screen (out of all the menus)
4. press and release the "L" and "R" buttons at the same time.
5. Remove your fingers from the "L" and "R" buttons for the time being so that you don't accidentally press them again.
6. Go into the "Items Pocket" to find that the First Item has become "Masterball/Heart Scale x493" (Depends on what version of the code you use)
7. Toss Masterballs/Heart Scales until you have the same number as the NationalDex Number of the pokémon you wish to catch.
8. Back-out of the menus again and go to any patch of grass, cave, fishing spot, or wile surfing.
9. While holding "L" walk in said location until you encounter a pokémon. Keep holding "L" until the pokémon turns from the shadow sprite to the color sprite and you have the "Fight", "Items", "Run Away" options on the bottom screen. (This is how long I wait...)
*NOTE*

1. If you use a Masterball to catch the pokémon you are looking for, the game will use your 1 Masterball in the Balls Pocket first!
2. The code doesn't always give you the one you want, that doesn't mean the codes not working just try again from step 9. If you NEVER get what you are looking for and everything was done AS I SAID then there is most likely a problem in how you typed the code into the Action Replay.

To the best of my knowledge this code only works on Pokemon you FIND in the wild. That means that this code will NOT work on Eggs, gift pokémon, and pokémon you already have.
1. Load the codes and the game save file.
2. Press (at the same time) R+A (to activate the code), and press L+A (to deactivate).
3. View your trainer card and exit it back to the main game. (X -> (Your Characters Name) -> A -> B -> B.
4. Walk in Grass, Walk in Caves, Fish, Surf until you encounter a pokémon of which it will be genuinely shiny.
